# The London Mulan Premiere Did Happen

Disney announced -- basically *while* this premiere was happening (with understandably lackluster attendance) -- that [they're pushing the opening of *Mulan* back to a time TBD](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/mulan-release-pushed-back-coronavirus-pandemic-1284275?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). We were [JUST talking about Disney should maybe release it on VOD as well as theatrically,](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/mulan-world-premiere/mulan-film-premiere-arrivals-los-angeles-usa-09-mar-2020?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) and make bank while we're all inside, but I can't blame them for just waiting until everyone can hopefully see it safely in the theatre. My question: If this is MONTHS from now...will they re-do the premieres to remind us it's coming? This dress is absolutely fine -- it's Elie Saab, which she also wore to the first premiere; I wonder if they did the entire press tour wardrobe? -- but who doesn't enjoy an opportunity for a do-over regardless?
