The Most Intriguing Trousers of the 2025 ESPYs

Luguentz Dort, Aaron Wiggins, Jalen Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Isaiah Joe and Isaiah Hartenstein

These dudes are all on the OKC Thunder, the current champions, and they all actually look great -- but I feel like they're standing with the best looks in the middle and they sort of devolve as you move outward. In other words, I have some concerns about Isaiah's pants.

Spencer Haywood

SNAPPY! Fun fact, he was Iman's second (of three) husband. (He's had a very interesting life.)

Ezra Frech

This is jaunty! I might have also added a pocket square? (He's a gold medal-winning track and field Paralympian.)

Andraya Carter and Arielle Chambers

They both look great, but ended up in this post because Arielle's suit is SO GOOD.

Ashleigh Johnson

If you click in, you can see this suit is QUILTED. The fabric is really cool.

Daria Berenato

She's a professional wrestler and now that I know that, I KNOW that. This outfit is totally right for that brand.

Freddie Freeman and Chelsea Freeman

Me: I don't think Freddie is a really a double-breasted suit guy. My husband: He needs to iron his suit! Tell everyone ironing is my passion.

Jared Verse

But Jared Verse IS. This is very cool!

Russell Wilson and Ciara

I put them here because presumably it's Russell's night, even if it looks like Ciara is dragging him into frame. I feel like he is always draping himself in velvet. In a shocking development, SHE looks (as usual) totally gorge.

Terrell Owens

This reminds me that I used to have a sweater JUST like this. WHERE IS IT?!

Da'Vinchi

So many things are happening in the pants space lately.

Diana Taurasi

Diana looks very cool and also like she owns an art gallery where she drives a very hard bargain.

Jerry Jeudy and date whose name I was not given!

Jerry Jeudy looks very autumnal and also every time I hear his name, I think of Craig Robinson's brilliant Brooklyn 99 character, Doug Judy.

: Dorian Thompson-Robinson and his date

I say this with respect to DTR, who was my college's (UNEVEN!!!) starting quarterback for many years, but what is DTR wearing. He has draped himself in velvet. He TOO is autumnal.

Elise McCollum (in Harbison) and CJ McCollum

Ending with two big thumbs up here.
