*The Crown* returns on Netflix on December 8th -- in case you missed it, [I've been roiling at a low boil about Philip for MONTHS!](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-crown-season-two-join-me-in-my-rage-03-2017/) \-- and it does, like the deeply repressed cousin of New York's hottest nightclub, have everything: The aforementioned bearded Matt Smith; great leopard coats; the Matthew Goode Sex Scenes We've All Been Waiting For; a moment where I think, "I never thought the Duke of Windsor was going to have so large a part on this show and I'm weirdly glad he does;" fabulous lipsticks; wan head kerchiefs of indecision; and (my favorite) lots of sad rich people with British accents. Behold!
