Alina Zagitova

As I mentioned earlier, I wasn't able to watch this, but given her ensemble I ASSUME Alina is skating to a medley from Cats?

Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani

I've seen this gala skate! It's to a Sinatra/Jay-Z version of "That's Life," and I always think of it as Maia's "Yay, I Get To Wear Pants!" skate.

Shoma Uno

This photo paired with his costume makes him look like an aggressive salesman at the Gap, bursting into the dressing room to see if you need another size.

Kaetlyn Osmond

And Kaetlyn Osmond -- surely still riding high on her bronze -- is performing the classic gala skate, "Yay, I get to leave my hair down!

Choi Dabin

It must have been so great for the Korean skaters to perform so well at home; that has to be a dream.

Javier Fernandez

This is a SUPER charming gala skate and he's been doing it for like...a really long time, which, I guess, if it's not broken? (This is not a complaint: I personally feel like taking the time and energy to come up with a new exhbition routine every year seems like a poor use of your time as a competitive athlete, but I might just be a crank.)

Tae Ok Ryom and Ju Sik Kim

This is the pair from North Korea; she is VERY horizontal here.

Evgenia Medvedeva

ABC News just told me that Evgenia is "performing to a song from “Battle of Sevastopol,” the biographical war film set during the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union," and that is NOT AT ALL what I would have guessed from this costume. (I was gonna say Flashdance.)

Sui Wenjing and Han Cong

These are our silver medalists, and this ombre skirt is very nifty.

Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron

I went to Gabriella's Wiki page to see what their exhibition skate is (it's to "Pray That You Catch Me" by Beyonce) and someone has updated the photo to one of her holding her silver medal and looking SO disappointed. You are young, Gabriella! You have so many years of dramatically skating to Beyonce in pretty dresses to come!

Satoko Miyahara

As much as I thought the top three finishers in the women's skate were the correct top three, I wish Miyahara could also have gotten a medal

Yuzuru Hanyu

This all feels right.

Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte

This also seems VERY in keeping with their general vibe.

Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev

These are the Russian skaters who had that program where they're both inexplicably blind? This photo is great because she sort of looks like a mannequin that he, a harried employee, is dragging to another part of the department store.

Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford

This is just impressive.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir

They skated to The Tragically Hip, a beloved Canadian band which sadly lost its lead singer, Gord Downie, last year. Aren't they just the best?

The Olympic Figure-Skating Exhibition

Time to say good-bye to skating.
