We remain topknot-free at big events, PRAISE THE HEAVENS. Her head is so good, I'm glad to see her treating it well. Actually, this entire look is pretty, although I wish SOMEONE at this event had accessorized with some color.
She plays someone EEEEVIL in Once Upon a Time, right? (I don't watch it.) This seems appropriate for those circumstances, as it's basically what the Black Swan version of Cinderella would wear.
The back is groovy.
I guess part of her dress is red -- who knew? -- as is wholly half of her shoes. I tend to be a little eye-roll-y about this sort of thing, but I am trying in my old age to unclench in the name of fun.
These shoes are the worst idea she's ever had. I feel comfortable stating that for the record.
This feels a little bit like the poor man's version of what Jennifer Morrison is wearing, but I have to admit that, ten years on, I STILL am surprised to see her without her blonde LOST hair, so what do I know?
THANK YOU, Rebecca Mader, for listening to my whinging about no one wearing colorful accessories with their LBD.
All that said, this might actually be my favorite LBD of the event. Elegant, simple, sexy. Done.
