The Opening Night of Company

Leslie Odom, Jr.

He looks incredible here, AND like he's about to fling off his coat for a stirring musical number. Which he is more than capable of doing, obviously. Do "The Room Where It Happens"! SOMEONE will find you a table to leap onto! Do it!!!!

Naomi Watts

I don't love the white shoe here, but overall this feels like such a good, reasonable, cozy, festive theatre outfit.

Zac Posen

Zac Posen is looking like a rich, dissolute pirate right now. In a good way.

Matthew Broderick

"Out two nights in a row! Sheesh!"

Cynthia Nixon

"I, too, have been out two nights in a row and tonight's look is called Just Rolled Off the Subway." Heather and I were once in New York in February during an arctic blast -- it was SO COLD and also I'm from Los Angeles, I am THIN OF BLOOD, I got chilblains! -- and I was so miserable that one day I walked into every store I passed and bought a scarf. I ended up looking sort of like this.

Barbara Barrie

Barbara Barrie, age 90, star of stage and screen, original cast member of this show, looking great in a very cool grommet-y skirt.

Betty Buckley

Betty Buckley's coat is GREAT. I like it so much I am not going to make a "Memory" joke.

Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita

It's PEAK Coats/Turtlenecks season.

Donna Murphy

"I was led to believe this party was fancier."

Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor

I don't have a full length shot of them, but this photo makes me laugh. Holland is so perky and then in the background, Paulson looks like she MIGHT be plotting a spot of murder.

Mark Ronson and Grace Gummer

I forgot they are married!

Christine Baranski

MY QUEEN.

Jane Krakowski

She, too, has been in this show on Broadway (in 1995) and she looks GREAT here.

Brenda Vacarro

Brenda's like, "ooooh just popping by!" When I was a child, I truly thought "Brenda Vaccaro" was THE MOST GLAMOROUS NAME. (I knew who she was thanks to the short-lived soap Paper Dolls which I probably was not supposed to be watching.)

Jennifer Westfeldt

Jennifer, those trousers are going to be SO ANNOYING in the snow, please take a cab home.

David Hyde Pierce

Meanwhile, David Hyde Pierce doesn't trust ANY of you and your germs!
