And honestly, I am fine with that. YOU DO YOU, Martha, you glorious HBiC.

Nina Dobrev almost always looks great, and this is no exception. I appreciate how vaguely deco this is. I also kind of wish she were in the movie. Sometimes I worry that, like Sarah Michelle Geller before her, the fact that Nina Dobrev is REALLY GOOD in a part on a genre show (ostensibly) aimed at teens makes people dismiss how good she (and it) is.

Can we just agree as a society that formal gowns with visible boy shorts (or lining that approximates such) have been totally fun and now we are never going to do them again because BORING?

Not a huge fan of the styling here -- those shoes are kinda hoof-adjacent, no? -- but this is probably the best she's looked on the red carpet in a long time, and I think she's actually pulling off that color. Additionally: cute bob, Mamie, and also, you are seriously so so funny on *The Good Wife*.
