This is just VERY relaxed and cool, and it's an interesting departure from how she often dresses on the red carpet, which is occasionally a little bit like Here's My Fashion Wine Bag! Which I'm sure is fun (and comfy), but it's cool to see her in something so pared back.

This suffers in comparison to Jodie's very relaxed, chic look, but also this is just...too much. I understand the instinct to go FULL 80s, but I wish they'd sort of dialed down the styling if she was going to wear this dress, because I think the complete effect overwhelms her a bit. I actually suspect the dress itself is tough to pull off without looking like you're wearing two dresses from Princess Diana's closet mashed together in general, but I wonder if a simpler hair situation would have helped.
