This is sort of the platonic ideal of a MTV Movie Awards dress -- short, a little shiny, a bit whimsical. This is, in fact, the number one place to wear a Balmain mini, and she looks great in it.
Lana Condor in Alice McCall

I have realized since we covered this for Cosmo over the weekend that I think this is actually a romper -- but it still LOOKS too short and it's definitely a tiny bit snug. It feels like she hasn't quite yet hit her styling stride, but we'll get there, Lana, you beautiful noble land mermaid!
Kiernan Shipka in Fendi

Honestly, I WOULD buy this in tote bag form.

I DO NOT KNOW.

Jameela Jamil is angling for Moira Rose's part in The Crows Have Eyes 4. (I am a metallic shoe lover, but imagine how cute these would have been with a neon shoe?)
The Vanderpump Rules cast

SO. The cast of Vanderpump Rules -- interestingly, sans Jax and Brittany??? And of course Lisa -- looks globally....rather bad here. Things have happened when SCHEANA, who wore a CROP TOP to her wedding, and Kristen are the clear winners. Katie looks okay. Stassi is dressed as a swan, god bless. And the other women...have made some life choices.
Storm Reid in Etro

I love this. It's so romantic

So, some of the cast of The Hills showed -- which makes sense, obviously. Here, Brody Jenner looks VERY VERY lazy, , Frankie Delgado made the brave choice to wear his jammies, and Justin Bobby there in the middle CLEARLY WINS this one.
Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp

This was our Stranger Things contingent; that I could tell, Caleb, Millie BB, and Sadie were absent (and, of course, the olds did not show up. Winona Ryder could TELL YOU some things about MTV, kids). They always look sharp. I decided Finn's Beetlejuice pants are a shout-out to his TV mom.

This is NOT how I normally picture Michael From Jane The Virgin.
