Yeah, so this is basically perfect for this event: She looks good in it, it's icy, there's a real snow-related vibe. Perfect. A+, Menzel. (I feel like this is a good place to confess that I didn't see Frozen until it was on HBO and I LOVED it and cried. It's a really good movie! I get why all these people came out!)

She is LOVELY and part of the Disney family. However: This dress is too much if you're not actually in the film, which she is not. If if didn't have the train, it would be perfect, but I think the rest of it makes this a bridge too far.

On the other hand, this is SO clearly meant to be costumey that I am DELIGHTED -- and, of course, it helps that a tiny child is involved. (That is Selena's baby sister.) This is very cute. Maybe we should make everyone dress up as the movie they're attending for premieres from now on. Like a mini Met Gala every week.
