As a person who saw this film in the theatre (AND read and loved the book) in 1994, and was also a big Christian Slater fan, I regret to inform you that I had to Google "was Christian Slater in Interview With a Vampire?????????" and he WAS and I do not remember him in it AT ALL. (He was the titular Interviewer.) NONE of these people are looking at the same camera.

## Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt

BRAD: I think the matching goatees was a step too far, Tom. TOM: NO, Brad. IT'S AMAZING. We look COOL. Look at your hair? BRAD: I'm trying something. TOM: You won't be able to do it. BRAD: Do what? TOM: You're trying to de-hot yourself. It won't ever really work. Look at yourself. Your beauty is your gift and your curse.

## Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise

Meanwhile, what you could not tell in the previous photos is that Tom Cruise has chosen to drape himself in velvet.

## Tom and Nicole

Did I ALSO have Tom Cruise's haircut at this point in 1994? I didn't NOT have it.

Nicole looks beautiful, of course, but I cannot explain why they both are acting like this is the prom.

## Kirsten Dunst

Look at this winsome little cutie! Honestly, the perfect look for a 12 year-old girl in 1994.

## Luke Perry and Minnie Sharp

They had been married about a year at this point; they divorced in 2003\. They are the cutest, even if Luke Perry's suit is ENORMOUS. (I will always love you, Luke Perry!)

## Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling (Photo by Jim Smeal/Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images)

I sincerely think she came directly from the set of 90210 in this.

## Ian Ziering

And I swear to God, Steve Sanders ALSO wore this on the show.

## Eriq La Salle

This premiere was a hot ticket and I'm ALWAYS happy to see the eternally handsome Eriq La Salle, who demonstrated for an entire generation the platonic ideal of a fist pump.

## Jared Leto

This was in the middle of "My So-Called Life," so, yes -- we are in fact seeing Jared Leto at the height of his powers of leaning.

## Chad Allen

I would FULLY wear this blazer today. (Did you know that Chad Allen retired from acting, went to UCLA, and is now becoming a psychologist? good for him!)

## Will Smith and Sheree Smith

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-109421472-1603320907.jpg)

For a moment, I thought someone in the background behind Will and his first wife, Sheree, was Kenneth the Page. Who IS immortal, so....that works on multiple levels.

## Yasmine Bleeth

None of the civilians seem that impressed, but I think Yasmine looks cute here!

## Kim Basinger

Yet more velvet, this time on Kim Basinger

## Queen Latifah

I am perplexed by what the Queen is wearing! At first, I thought this was a leather bustier, and now maybe it's just that we can see her bra? 1994 was a complicated time.

## Arye Gross and Ellen DeGeneres

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-477844741-1603321024.jpg)

I truly do not know what is happening here.

## Louis Malle and Candice Bergen

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-156196862-1603321014.jpg)

Ten bucks says Candice still has that scarf.

## Kim Cattrall

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-145752987-1603320993.jpg)

When I downloaded this pic, I thought Kim Cattrall was wearing those 90s era boots where the leg is made of stretchy material but it appears these are ANKLE BOOTS AND THIGH-HIGH SOCKS? KIM. (And Clueless hadn't even come out yet, so there is no excuse for this!)

## Roseanne and Ben Thomas

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-105858336-1603320897.jpg)

This is the part of the slideshow where people have made unusual choices in their hosiery.

## Raquel Welch

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-118812402-1603320950.jpg)

This movie premiered on November 9th, and Raquel was still feeling witchy. (This is good, although it feels too fancy for this specific event.)

## Kelly Preston

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-115412405-1603320929.jpg)

I assume Kelly -- who looks very cute here -- was there as one of Tom's Scientologist Friends. (She and Tom wouldn't be in Jerry Maguire together for two more years.)

## Antonio Banderas and wife Ana Leza

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-105852217-1603320887.jpg)

Antonio is mere months from meeting Melanie Griffith here. (Did we know he had Covid? He's okay. I just learned this from his Wiki. I have great fondness for him and also in 1994, I would have loved this skirt.)

## Tim Daly and then wife Amy Van Nostrand

![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/10/GettyImages-105849568-1603320876.jpg)

I've NEVER thought this before, but does Ageless Tim Daly look sort of like Christian Slater here?

## Debra Winger

This hat is PEAK 1994.

## Faye Dunaway and Ed Limato

Ms Dunaway could wear this today.

## Jodie Foster and Randy Stone

## Stevie Nicks

I mean, this is Stevie's general MO anyway -- but it also feels VERY on theme!

[Oh My God, Please Look at These Pics From the Premiere of Interview With a VampireIT'S EVERYONE. And they are all trying something with their hair.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2020/10/shutterstock_editorial_5146922c-1603321298-scaled.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/oh-my-god-please-look-at-these-pics-from-the-premiere-of-interview-with-a-vampire-08-2023/)
