Gotta start with our Academy Award winning star here. She looks as elegant as ever.
Natalie Portman and Theresa Kang-Lowe

Oh, I guess technically Natalie Portman ALSO has an Oscar, but she's not in Pachinko -- just a fan! This red look feels unusually zippy on her; I like it. She's posing with Theresa Kang-Lowe, one of the show's executive producers. She looks good!

I do not know how she did this, but she literally looks like a windswept cover of a epic novel in this very photo. The effect is very romantic.
Steve Sang-Hyun Noh

This man...is very very handsome. (I also want to note that whoever planned this premiere, which is at the Academy Museum, realized that the usual black step-and-repeat at the museum was NOT IT for events. Thank you, event planners, for making sure these photos weren't just a series of handsome floating heads!)
Mari Yamamoto
LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 16: Mari Yamamoto attends Apple's "Pachinko" world premiere at The Academy Museum. "Pachinko" premieres globally on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022.
Oooh, these boots are a surprise! I appreciate the vibe but am not sure about the execution.
Ally Maki

I appreciate the vibes here, too. And actually ALSO the execution? (I'm as surprised as you are, but she's making it work!)
Jin Ha

He looks great in this hanbok, which is a beautiful garment. (His twitter bio says he uses he/him pronouns, but that he's "uninterested in the binary.")(He also just finished up a run on Broadway as Aaron Burr in Hamilton! He is having a big year and it's only March.)
Alan Kim
LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 16: Alan Kim attends Apple's "Pachinko" world premiere at The Academy Museum. "Pachinko" premieres globally on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022.
This child is seriously one of the best dressed people in Hollywood.
Anna Sawai

I assume this is Chanel; it works on her. (I'm surprised we haven't seen Kristen Stewart in this configuration.)
Soji Arai/Sohee Park

He looks dashing! His pins are (I think) in the shape of Korea and Japan (which is very thematic for this project, certainly).

This dress is very fun and honestly, I think she should have also worn some wild shoes. Go for it!

We're seeing a lot of interesting hose/tights/socks choices at this premiere. I like these tights and also wonder if this look (which I do like) is a bit too winter-y?
Richa Moorjani
LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 16: Richa Moorjani attends Apple's "Pachinko" world premiere at The Academy Museum. "Pachinko" premieres globally on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022.
And THIS is very cute and might be too summery? What season even is this, though? (It's technically winter.)
Jimmi Simpson

I continue to be unmoved by this new trend of very long sleeves -- don't they get pasta sauce or soup or ice cream or salad dressing or whatever on them?? -- but love this unconventional footwear situation.
Greta Lee
LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 16: Greta Lee attends Apple's "Pachinko" world premiere at The Academy Museum. "Pachinko" premieres globally on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022.
Greta Lee looks like a 90s supermodel and here is a good place for me to remind everyone that Russian Doll is back next month!!!
Ashley Park
LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 16: Ashley Park attends Apple's "Pachinko" world premiere at The Academy Museum. "Pachinko" premieres globally on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022.
These are some dramatic bootaloons on Ashley Park, who sort of looks like my new very favorite Real Housewife. (The Housewives love a strong shoulder.)
