THE 1997 ENERGY THAT THIS HAS. The bucket hat! The cig! The OOC wide collar! In 1999, I used to go to Bar Marmont on Sunset a lot and it was quite a hot spot and it was quite loud. And one night, I'm sitting there with my partner-in-crime Joe and Skeet Ulrich here comes in and sits on the sofa right next to us, and I nudge Joe and very subtly hiss, "it's Skeet Ulrich," and Joe was like, "what?" and I repeat myself and Joe is like, "what??" and I YELL "IT'S SKEET ULRICH" just as the music gets turned way down and the whole bar heard me and Skeet moved seats. Sorry, Skeet.

This was also about the time that Joe and I got tired of seeing endless ads for the HBO movie Breast Man, about the dude who invented the silicone breast implant, as played by David Schwimmer. "I cannot see David Schwimmer one more time," I said to Joe, and we went out to Bar Marmont again AND DAVID SCHWIMMER WAS THERE. Anyway, it was nice of Ross and Joey to come out and support Monica!
