All these photos sort of crack me up. The Queen's general mien is -- AS IT SHOULD BE! -- "Yes, it is ME and it IS my birthday!" As you can see, basically everyone in the family showed up, except Kate (for baby reasons), Philip (presumably for hip reasons) and MAYBE Andrew, but I suspect he's just cut out of this photo.

"I mean, she TRIED to have the baby earlier this week so she could be here tonight, but no. No, that didn't work. Do you want to Facetime her? No? No. Okay. Well. I'm sorry?"

Meghan is chatting here with -- I THINK -- Princess Anne's husband Tim Laurence. I like the idea that Princess Anne and Mr Princess Anne love Meghan and have decided it's true. (Harry and Meghan and Wills all drove over together, which is cute.)

IT'S A CAPE DRESS and I'm into it. It's by my own front-runner for wedding dress designer, Stella McCartney. I am into navy AND capes, so clearly this is my jam. (I also think it looks way better on her than it does on Neiman's site, where the model looks like she's in a cult.) I sort of wish she'd gone more dramatic with the shoes, but I understand that maybe when you're in a cape dress, you don't want to go too crazy.

I THINK this is a skirt and a top, right? I like those shoes -- for some reason, the beige shoe works for me when it's strappier -- but maybe not with this dress? I'm unsure. Let's discuss.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, TOM JONES!" (And please tell me I'm not the only person who thought it was Charles holding a tamborine for a moment.)
