1997 was ALSO a time wherein young actresses really leaned into the Old Hollywood thing; it's very hard to argue with this. It does feel like Gina spent a lot of time looking at photos of Courtney Love's iconic The People vs. Larry Flynt red carpet glow-up of the year previous.
