BOW DOWN TO THE QUEEN.

Michaela Coel is in Chewing Gum, which she also created and writes, and which I hear is great, and which I haven't yet watched. (I also want to note that Chewing Gum is such a British title for a show; both because Americans always just call it "gum," and also because one of the Noel Streatfeild books had a dog named Chewing Gum, so called because that's what the American soldier who gave him to the kids in the book was always doing.) ANYWAY, all of that aside: She looks GREAT and I love this dress. Apparently, her mom made it!

It's not a party without Cumberbatch. Is what I hear they're saying.

Wunmi Mosaku won the Supporting Actress award for Damilola, Our Loved Boy, and apparently was in Fantastic Beasts, which I haven't seen because I'm mad that JK Rowling thinks Americans would say "No-Maj" instead of "Muggle" when "Muggle" is the perfect word for that. She looks fab, and her red lip is perfect.

My first reaction to this was a scream of terror, but honestly, she looks pretty good in this. I think it was just a Pavlovian response.

Keep on keeping on, Kim Cattrall.

SUE. You look smashing. Great British Bake Off is going to be MEANINGLESS without you and Mel. I cannot even continue to think about this.

This is very pretty on her. Naeem Khan continuest to demonstrate that he knows what he's doing.

These seems absolutely correct.

Wikipedia just taught me that Millie Brady is about to star in a TV adaptation of Clan of the Cave Bear, which I hope will be on premium cable or else there will be no plot that they'll be able to show. FYI, my high school assigned that book as summer reading when I was 15 -- which, yes, it has a lot of blah blah blah about early man and all that but it also has pages and PAGES AND PAGES of EXPLICIT SEX. I guess...it was educational in several ways?

The melodiously named Ms Lovibond continues to model a wardrobe that I hope Felicity Jones takes as inspiration.

I think this is GORGEOUS.

Don't worry, Chuck Bass. So are you.

Charlotte Riley played Kate Middleton in King Charles III, which was on Masterpiece last night and which I have unfortunately not had time to watch yet. She is also married to Tom Hardy! I'm not in love with her dress.

She looks FAB in this. Also, she was a finalist on X Factor, and is currently on Hollyoaks. Her character's Wiki entry is REALLY confusing.

Speaking of Wiki entries, hers has the amazing following paragraph: “In 2000, Willoughby won an audition for a show on CITV featuring S Club 7 called S Club TV. In this show actors represented an alternative S Club. She also appeared in a show called S Club 7: Artistic Differences playing a character called Zoe with the regular members of the band. Willoughby worked as a receptionist for a while and then as a runner for the defunct shopping channel Auction World TV.” ALTERNATE UNIVERSE S CLUB.

This cluth is DIVINE!

She looks lovely in this, but somewhat uncomfortable in it. I also misread her Wiki page and briefly thought she'd starred in something called Dog Witness, which would obviously be about a dog that witnessed as crime and sounds like a show that Brick Berlin would star in.

I think is in CONCEPT, but is it a bit big for her? Also, I just fell into a wormhole looking up which maid she played on Downton -- she was Ethel, who got knocked up by a posh dude who got killed in the war; I was convinced she was the one who tried to seduce poor Branson -- and, hilariously, one of her Downton wiki pages lists her character's residence as "a small hut."

Michelle Collins has been on both Eastenders and Coronation Street. Her character on the former has: lied about her son's parentage; driven a man to suicide (he failed and decided to ruin his child's life instead); lied about the parentage of TWO MORE children; had an affair with a lifeguard; had an affair with a dude who is the half brother of both of her spouses (somehow); hired a hitmen to murder; fled the country; gotten dragged back into the country; and allegedy died in childbirth but OFF CAMERA so we all know that she's really alive. On the latter, her character: lied about the parentage of her child; got run over by a drunk driver; slapped various people; forced a man to live in a taxi cab; landed in a coma after the pub she owned exploded; got held hostage in the basement of that same pub (which I guess she rebuilt); and then left to move to New York where her apartment had a swimming pool. She must be EXHAUSTED.

Anna is on Hollyoaks and I'm just going to cut and paste this WHOLE THING from her character's Wikipedia page: "The character has featured in many high-profile storylines, including discovering her twin brother Dodger Savage is alive; faking a pregnancy; kidnapping Tom Cunningham and holding him hostage in a basement for months; being kidnapped by her half-brother Will Savage; suffering from a mental illness; searching for her long-lost daughter Nico Blake; being locked up by her father Patrick Blake; hiding the fact that Nico murdered Ben's daughter Carly Bradley; being abused by Nico; being stabbed by Nico; coping when Nico is killed in a structure fire during the show's “Halloween Spooktacular” week; causing an explosion at the garage when she attempts to get revenge on Warren and his son Joel Dexter; becoming pregnant with Warren's twins and helping Warren to cover up Bart McQueen's body after Warren kills him." THAT IS A LOT. She looks lovely, especially considering all that stuff with Nico. I worry that Warren is a bad seed.

This is v. elegant.

Congratulations, sweetie darling!
