There's so much here to look at: the skirt, the bodice, the way her choppy clip-in bangs (I'm pretty sure) echo her hairpiece. And yet the eye goes straight to her groin, and the view of her underwear. That feels like a waste. I just am not a fan of the construction here at all -- the bodice is weird, too.

I mentioned this earlier, but for someone who earlier seemed to be getting the best of what Vuitton's custom shop had to offer... what is this? She's their big nominee of the night, and this looks like the thing they made in four hours because mice ate the first one.

Now THAT is a statement dress. Her styling kicked up a notch at the start of the year, and I'm sad her season won't end at the Oscars (I mean, hopefully she'd get invited, but Till wasn't nominated at ALL, for anything, which is insane).

Whereas this is so BLAH to me. All that stuff is trying to add up to something, but none of it leaps off the screen. All I would keep are the straps and the gloves, honestly. (Well, and Gugu.)
