I love Audra McDonald. That is well-documented, and I think a love universally shared. I wish this fit her better -- it's kind of creasing under her boobs? -- but the color is magnificent.

Clare, I know primarily from Galavant, which I almost typed as "Galavance" because Mark Rylance is coming up later. (Now I want them to remake Galavant with Mark Rylance in the role, just to see.) She was wonderful in it, and if you never saw that show, do it. It's only a total of 8 hours -- two seasons of eight half-hours -- and it will put SUCH a smile on your face. It's well worth it. Also, Clare looks gorgeous.

Sophie McShera

Speaking of people who were on Galavant, it's Downton Daisy. I actually like 85 percent of this, but want another crack at the details. Like the folds on the bodice, and maybe the shape of the slit in the front. But what a color. She's working a Michelle Dockery vibe.

Cush Jumbo

This is busy, and cool, and I kind of want to attack it with some colored pencils.

Haydn Gwynne

Haydn has played Camilla in what Wikipedia says is a sitcom based on the royals called The Windsors, and I WANT TO KNOW MORE. She looks like a Julia Louis-Dreyfus-style kick in this outfit.

Ruthie Henshall

Fun fact: She dated Prince Edward for a while, and I feel like Sophie would give this dress at least two looks, so maybe Edward has a style type. (I saw her in Miss Saigon when I was a kid; she understudied for Ellen. She was great.)

Lily Frazer

Lily is in Dreamgirls. I think this is objectively kooky, but also somewhat fantastic and cheery.

Noma Dumezweni

Noma won for her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter play, and I assume here she is casting a spell on someone. I wish she would hex her one massive sleeve clean off the dress.

I don't know about the shape of this, but it's firmly in the category of I Wish I Owned This In T-Shirt Form.

Anita Dobson

Anita is an EastEnders legend and she's married to Brian May of Queen, so that's two points in her favor. She also, in my youth, released an excruciating single set to the tune of the EE theme song, which... honestly, that's another point in her favor. Why did no one do this with Days of our Lives? Also: That dress might be from her 1980s wardrobe.

Glenda Jackson

I was SO CONFUSED for a second, thinking that Glenda was wearing just a bra under there. That does not appear to be the case, but I can't tell if it was worth the risk.

Billie Piper

Billie is awfully cute, but she is suffering from gym head.

Jessie is on Taboo right now, that Tom Hardy show whose previews confused the hell out of me. I genuinely have no idea what it is -- if you told me it was about a traveling Satanist carnival I would believe it -- but this sort of feels right for whatever it is.
