This is REALLY striking. We don't see a ton of Badgley on the red carpet anymore, or so it feels, and that might be a mistake. This reminds me of something Anne Hathaway would've worn, for some reason? I'm not sure why that is. She SHOULD have worn it.

Yalitza has a strong lipstick game, which we saw on the previous slide and which we'll see here and in the next two. She is GOOD AT THAT. I also like this dress better than I expected to; it's the type of thing I doubt I'd have looked twice at on the rack, but her whole composed look is really charming.

This outfit was the next day, using the same shoes and a similar motif. It's not as divine as the previous one, but it's still really cute. Roma is her first movie and only credit. Can you imagine having to run this kind of gauntlet? She's more than holding her own and I hope we'll see her on all the big red carpets coming during that most vaunted of periods: awards season. Can you taste it? THE GLOBES ARE NIGH.
