I am not quite conversant enough in Queen to know if we've ever seen her in a wrap like this, as opposed to a coat. I'm sure it must happen on occasions when she's not wearing a coat-dress -- [though last year she wore no wrap AND no coat](../photos/duchess-kate-attends-the-festival-of-remembrance-in-maybe-catherine-walker/royal-festival-of-remembrance-london-uk-11-nov-2017) \-- but my memory is a sieve and it feels newish to me, and regardless: I am DIGGING IT. That looks very cozy indeed, and the grey has a wonderful luxe sheen to it.

I don't THINK we've seen this dress before, but I am not your encyclopedic source on this front EITHER. It's a very effective and simple and lovely dress on her, which does the exact right job of looking serious and polished without bringing major jazz hands. William is decked out in a furry unicorn suit, per usual.

## Harry and Meghan

As is Harry naturally. Okay, fine: The boys are wearing the regimental ties of the Household Division -- a very senior military unit associated directly with the head of state. Wills and Harry both are in [the Blues & Royals regiment](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blues%5Fand%5FRoyals?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which they joined in 2006\. They are not required to wear them with blue suits -- in the past they've done it with black or with grey -- so that must just be their Wales mind meld at work. Or the unicorn onesies are on underneath.

Meghan has on a Stella coat that we saw before [when she and Harry went to Cardiff](https://gofugyourself.com/photos/harry-and-meghan-visit-cardiff-wales/prince-harry-and-meghan-markle-visit-cardiff-wales-uk-18-jan-2018-5?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). We never saw the dress she had on underneath, as far as I can tell, so I'm forced to assume it's her usual t-shirt with Idris Elba's face on it that says "NOTHING BUT RESPECT FOR MY PRESIDENT." (Also, I assume it was raining? That, or she spilled some water on her hose.) I suspect she picked it because the satin gives it a dressier feel, meaning she could leave it on more comfortably. She may not be ready to show off the bump again just yet.

That's the closest look at it that we got; it does seem to have a vaguely lapel-style collar, in the fashion she really loves.

## Sophie Wessex

Per Gert's Royals, Edward's tie is of The Rifles, for which he's Royal Colonel of the 2nd Battalion. He and Sophie look very smart

## Camilla

I like this a lot on Camilla, as well. She is very reliable.

Gert's Royals also indicates that Sir Tim's tie represents the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. I'm very grateful to these knowledgeable people.

The Queen's serious face is a delight to me. I honestly think she can rival Anna Wintour for you not knowing what she's thinking. (Here I assume someone is playing a song in her honor, or they're doing a moment of silence, or something. Unless she just REALLY did not care for the cut of Tom Jones's jib.)

I see you over there, Andrew. Also, I realized this is the only real view I gave you of Charles, so... oops. I'm sure it was bittersweet for the Queen to be there without Philip. I hope he's okay. It's possible he was never scheduled to attend this, but you know how it is: While I enjoy assuming he is just getting a kick out of using his age and retirement to stay in and watch *Stranger Things* on Netflix, in truth I assume he would try to be there as usual if he was feeling completely tip-top. Everyone hang in there, please.
