I know I've made this joke a million times before -- this blog is nearly 17 years old, I am RECYCLING -- but this time it's literally true: I absolutely had a Barbie who looked just like this. This is not a ding, thought: This is totally whimsical and fun and she looks really cute in it. Bring out your pink pleather, friends, we're all back out in the world! (I kinda wish they were real cigarette pants, rather than having those zippered ankles but eh. That's a nitpick.)

This feels like what Sandy from Grease would wear in college, after she and Danny break up and go their separate ways and she falls in love with a dude who's really into country music. That's not really a complaint! This IS the place to dress like that!

I am sad we didn't leave this Unfinished Bodice situation back in the before times, but I might argue that if you ARE going to do this, you need to style it very carefully so you don't just look unfinished. I think she needs more intentional earrings?

This dress is CUTE and these boots are a HOOT. ENJOY IT, Little Big Town!

This is fully gorgeous on her! (I sort of wish she'd worn it at something that was more uptight than the CMTs but I get wanting to get out there in your fave gown ASAP now that we can do that.)

I fully respect a person who takes her walking boot and wraps it in metallic fabric to match her dress. (The sneaker is cute, too, and makes the dress a little less cheesy.) THAT'S how you do it.
