A dark red shoe might've looked really nice with this. Also, with the length of the coat, the dress itself would look better a bit shorter, but I love the perception of texture. These are all picky things.

Sarah, most recently in the Charmed reboot, is also in the movie. I'm glad to see her; she was good in Charmed, and that show didn't really get a fair shake, I don't think. And that's not typically my style of bodice, but I have to admit, I think this is really sexy and effective on her. Every boning has its context, I guess.

I was SO thrown off by whatever was happening with her glasses, until I saw another photo from a different angle. It's just a weird reflection of the lights. But it's hilarious to me that it looks like Oprah is dabbling in psychedelic makeup.

Tyler Perry wrote and directed this movie and I am very pleased he didn't title it Tyler Perry's The Six Triple Eight. HIs suit is very slick.

She just did an episode of Elsbeth and she was SO funny on it. I missed her. And might be a bit longer again, I guess, because she's not in this movie. Anyway, this is another slightly awkward length, but I love the color.

Kerry looks MUCH cooler here, at a more casual screening from earlier in the month.
Ebony and Kerry

Ebony Obsidian looks nice here, too, but the star of the show is that coat, and Kerry's general embrace of that rich deep oxblood color. It all makes me wish she'd gone a little less prim for the premiere itself. FULL CIRCLE.
