Colin Firth
Colin plays Michael Peterson, to Toni Collette's Kathleen Peterson (Toni did not come to this). I am unclear whether Michael did it or not -- the case was famous for a lot of reasons, one of which was that lawyers suggested she may have been attacked by an owl? -- and usually I watch Colin Firth projects specifically because I know he is not going to bludgeon anyone. So we'll see.
Sophie Turner
Sophie is definitely wearing murder gloves.
with Joe Jonas
Joe's spangly t-shirt is really fun. I'm glad these two crazy-famous folks have worked out so far -- it's one of those pairings where each one brings very passionate fans into it, so they probably understand each other really well.
Olivia DeJonge
Olivia is in this AND the forthcoming Elvis movie, so she's about to be really busy. And probably get some studio cash for better styling. (She looked great at the Met, so I'm optimistic. And this isn't bad. It's just flat.)
Dane DeHaan
Every time I see Dane DeHaan, I think that he and Alden Ehrenreich must fight for the same parts. I hope Putting Away My Glasses Real Quick is the new Buttoning My Suit Jacket While Walking.
Justiin A. Davis
This is delightful, sir.
Odessa Young
This is... not. It's one part bathing suit, one part French maid, one part bridesmaid. For a total of three parts of bad.
Parker Posey
I know, Parker, I was bummed, too. But when this gets nominated for Emmys, I'm sure Odessa will get hooked up with a good stylist.
Trini Alvarado
She looks so pretty. (You may recall her as Meg from the Winona Ryder "Little Women.") Trini hasn't got any projects on IMDb since 2014, so this must be exciting. She is BACK.
Patrick Schwarzenegger
This feels like Met cooldown mode. Maybe it was one of his alternative outfits.
Rosemarie DeWitt
Be wary of dresses that are designed to look like you're having a fashion accident.
with Ron Livingston
But, these two are still together, which I consider a very happy Hollywood ending, mostly because I watched the (quickly cancelled) show on which they met and rather liked it. I was there from the start. Should I send a gift?
