It appears that [Tom Ford is revisiting the work he did at Gucci in the 90s this season](https://editorial01.shutterstock.com/preview-440/10095656f/1f963be1/tom-ford-show-runway-fall-winter-2019-new-york-fashion-week-usa-shutterstock-editorial-10095656f.jpg?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and to that I can only say: THAT IS GREAT NEWS. Tom Ford was *great* at Gucci. I still dream of a velvet ladysuit! Anyway, those of you of a similar age may look at the shiny button-down shirts on people at this show and fondly remember your own shiny button-down that you wore out and about in 1997\. Mine was red.
