Initially, this was going to be a tribute post to one godawful Gucci that Sarah Jessica Parker wore in 2003 to the Tonys, but then \[insert long boring logistics story here\], and finally I recalled she and Matthew Broderick were preparing to open a show on Broadway when Covid-19 struck. Technically I THINK they would have been eligible because nominations weren't due out until the end of April, but even if not, I bet they'd have attended and presented. So now I've ripped this open into an SJP/Matthew Broderick Tony's flashback. *And* I didn't snip out that many logistics, in the end. My long-windedness truly cannot be curtailed.
