Cara Delevingne
American Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 22 Nov 2020
I actually quite like this, with the usual Yadda Yadda about D&G -- but I do wonder why Cara is at this event. How did SHE draw the One Model Who Attends a Random Music Awards Show straw? [Oh, wait, she has a movie coming out this weekend with... Jaden Smith, Nia Long, Cuba Gooding Jr. (oof), and Chris D'Elia (yikes). That explains it.]

I don't know if I think MGK actually looks actively good, but I sincerely do appreciate him for consistently trying stuff on the red carpet. He makes an effort. (Megan Fox, on the other hand, looks like she's rethinking this entire endeavor. Megan, it's okay! That color is great on you!)

Nelly
American Music Awards, Arrivals, Los Angeles, California, USA - 22 Nov 2020
We have entered the portion of the evening where ABC promotes Dancing With the Stars. (Also, Nelly was there to celebrate the 20th anniversary of "Country Grammar" and WOW, I AM old! JEEZ. Did I immediately listen to that song as soon as I read that fun fact? I absolutely did. I can't wait to see what we all do for the 20th anniversary of "Hot in Herre" in 2022. [I jest but also that is a great song. It's so direct.])

Derek Hough

Continued. (I sort of enjoy it when Derek Hough dresses like a choreographer from olden times, though.)

Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe all look slick here! (They did, of course, sing [among other things] "Poison," a song which truly is a forever banger.)

I must confess that although I appreciate the youthful elan on these two, AND their love of interesting suit fabrics, I have no idea who they are! I'M OLD! (Having said that, now that I've done some research, I totally HAVE heard their hit song so I guess I'm only medium-old, not super-old. Youngs who might be reading this, let me assure you that one of the best things about being middle-aged is just making the executive decision to let some pop culture stuff pass you by until you need to catch up with it for work. )

Bless Anthony Anderson for wearing a mask, but these masks that recreate the bottom half of your own face sort of weird me out. 2020 IS WEIRD.
