Cue my annual rant about how Hollywood has *always* feted the young -- but also a kind of contradictory rant about how this invite has always had a fluid definition of "young," which is also sort of heartwarming. I still want my proposed "A Night For Elderly Hollywood," which starts at 5:30 sharp and everyone is home by 9 p.m at the latest. There are seats for *everyone* and the lighting is very flattering *but* not so dark you can't read the bar menu. It'll be great.

As far as *this* party goes, though....the dress code seems like it was extremely vague.
