My sister had one of those music-activated dancing flower novelties when we were kids, and those wore sunglasses, so now I'm remembering a simpler time. And she did not half-ass her crown. This ALMOST feels like it's trying to position itself against the Met Gala on purpose -- like it's the West Coast "you say fashion, we say 'wearable art'" counterprogramming. This dress is SUCH a *Project Runway* Unconventional Materials Challenge, but a fairly successful one.
