I guess it's not like the Writers Guild's awards are ever the highest profile of them all, but I feel like we left awards season behind us with the Oscars, and it must have been a challenge to get hyped for *another* one after a whole month. If you're curious, the winners were *The Holdovers*, *American Fiction*, *Succession*, *The Last of Us*, *The Bear*, *Beef*, and episodes of *Succession* and *The* Simpsons and Poker Face. Oh, and [Jen D'Angelo](https://www.gofugyourself.com/featured/hocus-pocus-2-screenwriter-jen-dangelo-red-carpet-ready?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) won [for *Quiz Lady*](https://drinkswithbroads.substack.com/p/a-drinks-with-broads-interview-screenwriter), which is exciting! And Erika Alexander continued her swerve out of lively florals and into DRAMA.
