Cynthia hosted the CFDAs, and we saw her red carpet gown, but apparently she busted out this Rodarte for the inside portion of events. Cynthia carries that amount of look like it's easy, and it's not, especially with the ghost of Anne Shirley haunting you to see if you'll please bury it for her somewhere in Prince Edward Island so she can better enjoy her afterlife.

Well, obviously Cynthia looked too businesslike and too sensible and not at all green, so she ducked into a resale shop and the only thing they had ripped when she pulled it off the rack, but whatever, she just threw it on like an apron. "It's WSJ innovators," she may have said to herself. "I'm INNOVATING."

It would have been so easy to make this pink, and I'm glad Ariana did not, but she needs A color. SOME color. ANY COLOR. This is sort of like young Galinda going as Madonna for Halloween.

I assume they posed her there on purpose, so it'd look like she's tapping herself on the shoulder. That coat is stunning and might be the best of the thematic garments she's pulled.

A tale of two Galindas. (I know she eventually becomes Glinda but I don't know in which of the two movies that will be, etc.) Ariana is clinging to white clothes right now, I guess? Cheno's looks like it's falling open, and as if she shoved her hand through a powder puff to try and give this a hint of pink. Apparently EVERYONE should have borrowed Cynthia's coat for photos.

And here we have a tale of MANY Galindas, and some Elphabas, all of whom were treated to a showing of the film (which is both really nice and also maybe a little weird like, "None of you got this part, please enjoy who did!!!"): Mary Kate Morrissey, Alyssa Fox, Brittney Johnson, Alli Mauzey, Jenny DiNoia, Alexandra Socha, Carrie St. Louis, Kristin Chenoweth, Talia Suskauer, Ginna Claire Mason, McKenzie Kurtz, Amanda Jane Cooper and Katie Rose Clarke. Everyone looks so lovely, and like they're thrilled to be there. I hope they liked it. I decided I'm sure they ALL have notes on it being two parts.
