Scarlett looks a bit cranky here, if very beautiful in this dress. We had a convo yesterday about whether or not she's sort of trying to de-bombshell herself, and last night at least the answer was "no."

But this is so charming. This woman, Geraldine Dodd, is Scarlett's "Grandma Doppleganger." She's a 72 year old woman who looked so much like ScarJo when she was younger that a photo of her turned into a meme, and Scarlett then invited her to come to this premiere and get drunk with her. All of the photos of them together are similarly adorable -- they seem to be having THE BEST TIME. This really makes my heart warm toward Scarlett. Geraldine probably also makes Scarlett feel better about how beautifully her bone structure is going to age.

I MIGHT wish this had a thin belt, or any belt, but it's basically REALLY nice on her. This dress is sort of the Platonic Ideal of what to wear to a summer wedding. Not YOUR wedding. Someone else's wedding.

She looks great in this, BUT! She's got her hands on her waist in all the pics I've seen so far, and it's hard for me to tell how the dress actually hangs.

We've seen various versions of this OdlR number all over the place over the past six months, but this is the first time I've seen it in red. Despite my avowed dislike of the jumpsuit conceptually, and some minor fit issues with the bodice -- it might be a little squashy? -- she looks great in this.

I think even Dior is like, "ugh, even WE are sick of these ribbon straps. Cover them with beads or something. I don't care! Just do something about them!" Having said that, this is breezily good on Demi. She totally looks like she's going somewhere with a really great deck and fab drinks with umbrellas in them.

I enjoy her and Broad City very much, and I am VERY GLAD she didn't wear the runway version of this look. Having said that, I still think this veered a little bit toward Chic Ringmaster in a way I don't think does her any favors -- it sort of overwhelms her. Maybe a top hat and a whip would have helped? Lean in, as they say.
