I love the visuals of this, but I think that's a terrible slit location for her and it would have been much cooler with a) less, b) no slit, c) an open skirt, or d) pick your poison. Also, I will never understand how people sit or move without anxiety in these things, but that's my hangup. ## Daisy Ridley in Monse ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/5505b892148-1512950851.jpg) North America Rights Only - Los Angeles, USA -20171209- Celebrities on the Red Carpet for the Star Wars Last Jedi premiere -PICTURED: Daisy Ridley -PHOTO by: INSTARimages.com This is an editorial, rights-managed image. It's a cute idea that descends into shredded strips for no reason at all other than, I guess, someone at Chez Monse got a new toy. ## Laura Dern in Vivienne Westwood ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/fc814b35468-1512950890.jpg) , Los Angeles, CA - 12/09/17 - Star Wars The Last Jedi Los Angeles Premiere -PICTURED: Laura Dern -PHOTO by: Vince Flores/startraksphoto.com -VIF120768 Editorial - Rights Managed Image - Please contact www.startraksphoto.com for licensing fee Startraks Photo New York, NY Image may not be published in any way that is or might be deemed defamatory, libelous, pornographic, or obscene. And then OH, LAURA DERN. I am almost never bummed out by anything she wears, but this one gives me the blues for sure. Why is the boning the star? SHE should be. ## Kelly Marie Tran in Thai Nguyen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/shutterstock_9268978ao-1512950916.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Tony DiMaio/SilverHub/REX/Shutterstock (9268978ao) Kelly Marie Tran 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' film premiere, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Dec 2017 I think she looks gorgeous in this. She NABs, and I would have changed the head-styling a little -- lippy and maybe a low updo? -- but this was her first Big Deal Red Carpet and I think she nailed it. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/shutterstock_9266040bf-1512950902.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Michael Buckner/Variety/REX/Shutterstock (9266040bf) Kelly Marie Tran, shoe detail 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' film premiere, Arrivals, Los Angeles, USA - 09 Dec 2017 Also, HER SHOES. ## Gwen Christie ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/f50b6b94297-1512950877.jpg) , Los Angeles, CA - 12/09/17 - Star Wars The Last Jedi Los Angeles Premiere -PICTURED: Gwendoline Christie -PHOTO by: Vince Flores/startraksphoto.com -VIF120695 Editorial - Rights Managed Image - Please contact www.startraksphoto.com for licensing fee Startraks Photo New York, NY Image may not be published in any way that is or might be deemed defamatory, libelous, pornographic, or obscene. This is custom Gucci, and is a pretty compelling use of that Old-Timey Nightgown aesthetic that line has been pushing lately. I obviously want to burn the shoes and give her better lipstick, but we can't always get what we want. (Also I think it's possible the lipstick got blown out by this particular lighting.) ## Billie Lourd in Tom Ford ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/eb91010ffc4-1512950865.jpg) , Los Angeles, CA - 12/09/17 - Star Wars The Last Jedi Los Angeles Premiere -PICTURED: Billie Lourd -PHOTO by: Vince Flores/startraksphoto.com -VIF120719 Editorial - Rights Managed Image - Please contact www.startraksphoto.com for licensing fee Startraks Photo New York, NY Image may not be published in any way that is or might be deemed defamatory, libelous, pornographic, or obscene. I didn't realize that Billie has a part in the movie (no idea how big or small). This must have been really hard for her. ## Sniffle ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/carriefisher2-xlarge-640x354-1512953881.jpg) Nothin' but respect for MY president, as they say.
