I am fond of a heathered blue. And of how this angle shows that Harry will soon follow in the Windsor hairline legacy. ## in Catherine Walker ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-654390696_master-1489765378-compressed-1514348897.jpg) This St. Patrick's Day event [was right after the Wills Gets Drunk In Verbier On A Lads' Weekend mini-scandale](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/wills-and-kate-celebrate-st-pattys-day-head-off-to-france-pretend-everything-is-fine-03-2017/), and they presumably had to suck it up and pretend she hadn't been ripping him a new one for being a dolt. She looks marvelous, which is the best revenge. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-654470910-1489766156-compressed-1514348912.jpg) She is also one of those rare creatures who can take her hair down from an updo and have it bounce perfectly, unmarred, into her regular 'do. ## in Jenny Packham ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-654585240_594_screen-1489791346-compressed-1514348923.jpg) This is a very Kate dress -- she wore it in Paris -- and if in 30 years she's forced to rewear things for George's wedding, it would work nicely. It's pretty, but slightly unimaginative and a HAIR stodgy in the sleeve area. ## in McQueen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-654596492_594_screen-1489791369-compressed-1514348935.jpg) That's a bit better, and with a variation on her standard black pump. ## in Chanel ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-654757800_master-1489864015-compressed-1514348946.jpg) I THINK Chanel was the only French designer she wore on that trip. Not that it's essential that she do so. But it's interesting to me that she ALSO carried a larger purse than usual and prominently displayed that it was Chanel (though not in this particular pic). I'm a big fan of this suit and I feel like we'll see it late in 2018 once she's recovered from the trifecta of childbirth-wedding-Trooping. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-654757804_master-1489864027-compressed-1514348958.jpg) This is such a great photo that I couldn't NOT share it again. In my head, they are whispering about how very much they wish they could make out at stuff like this. ## in Eponine ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-656887536-1490290971-compressed-1514349969.jpg) I am torn on this one: It's SO CUTE, and I love the checked pattern and the reddish-orange (it might be true red and the lighting in this photo is just off), but the horizontal buttons always read like the back to me, as if she's wearing a coat-dress in reverse. ## in Temperley London ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-659245714-1490731049-compressed-1514349979.jpg) Fab color, same old lace style. I don't know why it bores me more in evening gowns than in her coat/coat-dresses and suits. Something about how the light catches them occasionally tricks me into thinking her big toe is bleeding. (It's not.) ## in Marchesa Notte ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/GettyImages-664535544-1491332198-compressed-1514349999.jpg) This is another perfect color on her, and the skirt is so charming. For me, the bodice falls way short of what the rest is selling -- it comes off like it's thinning, or something. They made it mildly less sheer in parts for her; couldn't they have done it in a way that didn't still seem haphazard? (ALSO: RED LIP.) It's a small nit but a good experiment, and I'm sure I'm alone in my pickiness. It changes color dramatically based on the light; in some shots it looks a richer blue, and here, almost minty. Maybe it's a Mood Suit. It's not one of my particular favorites, because I'm generally unmoved by satin. ## in Rebecca Taylor ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/BGUS_885891_005-1497283544-compressed-1514351300.jpg) This suit is EXTREMELY SIMILAR to the Rebecca Taylor she wore earlier in this slideshow, but not the same, to the point where I would wonder why she owns both -- before reminding myself that she, and all of us, owns a boatload of closely related striped shirts. ## in McQueen ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/wenn31483467-1495292795-compressed-1514351259.jpg) I look at these photos and think what a mom Kate is now -- in a nice way; a complimentary way. She IS a mom and she clearly is a hands-on one, because she's stepping right in and wrangling those children, and looks composed and adult but not flashy on her sister's big day. They're seen together so infrequently now that I keep forgetting they're close. I hope they still ARE close. ## in J. I can take it. ## with Mike Tindall and Mia ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/12/wenn31746071-1497552806-compressed-1514351290.jpg) This was from [a series of pictures](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/royals-round-up-june-16th-2017-06-2017/) in which William horsed around with little Mia, and then he and Mike did such a sweet and sincere hug... while Mia flopped around and didn't care whether her tights were showing, which is SUCH a kid move.
