What a baby face! (She's only 22 here. Wow, 2000 was a long time ago. Can we go back? I have a lot of stuff I have to stop from happening.) ## 2002 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/shutterstock_editorial_4374222aq-1587947685.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Bei/Shutterstock (4374222aq) Taryn Manning, Britney Spears, Anson Mount and Zoe Saldana 'Crossroads' film Premiere, Los Angeles, America - 11 Feb 2002 02/11/02 Hollywood, CA Taryn Manning, Britney Spears, Anson Mount(cast) and Zoe Saldana at the premiere of Paramount Pictures' "Crossroads" . Photo®Eric Charbonneau/BEI And here, of course, is Taryn Manning, Britney Spears, and Anson Mount with Zoe at the *Crossroads* premiere. Honestly, even if she'd never taken another role, being in *Crossroads* AND *Center Stage* is an iconic two-some. ## 2002 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/shutterstock_editorial_4374222a-1587947677.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Bei/Shutterstock (4374222a) Zoe Saldana 'Crossroads' film Premiere, Los Angeles, America - 11 Feb 2002 In the day when most celebrities didn't really have stylists. (I'm sure Britney had someone dressing her for this event.) I'm a sincerely little worried about the stylists, whose work has truly dried up right now. You guys, I can't wait to see what you come up with when this is all over. ## 2002 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/shutterstock_editorial_5126887w-1587947714.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock (5126887w) Zoe Saldana ("Crossroads") at the opening night performance of "The Elephant Man" on Broadway at the Royale Theatre in New York City on April 14, 2002\. This had to have looked better in person. ## 2007 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/shutterstock_editorial_5125960gn-1587947705.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Matt Baron/BEI/Shutterstock (5125960gn) Zoe Saldana 2007 Golden Globe Party Warner Bros and InStyle First of all, this pose is a total joke -- the rest of the snaps from this Golden Globes party, she's screwing around and laughing with Gabrielle Union, and I think she was playing MODEL. This dress is not memorable. ## 2007 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/shutterstock_editorial_679681z-1587947667.jpg) Mandatory Credit: Photo by Picture Perfect/Shutterstock (679681z) Zoe Saldana 'El Cantante' film premiere, Los Angeles, America - 31 Jul 2007 Remember when we belted stuff for literally no reason? ## 2009 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/80881_93047826-640x923-1587947140.jpg) This is PERPLEXING but also I still covet those shoes. ## 2010 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/83151_95835555-640x902-1587947148.jpg) This color is great, but the dress itself is so BUNCHY! (She carries it well, though.) ## 2010 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/85382_97519788-640x1016-1587947159.jpg) We didn't love this at the time, but I think it's aged pretty spectacularly. I take it all back; this has somehow become one of my favorite Oscars dresses her? ## 2010 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/88251_98822552-640x961-1587947167.jpg) This is deeply elegant and has aged so so beautifully. (This was at the Met Gala, the "American Identity" year, and it's -- of course -- Calvin Klein.) ## 2010 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/89772_101894340-640x1050-1587947183.jpg) This has NOT aged quite as well. ## 2010 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/89351_101547726-640x962-1587947175.jpg) Neither has this, but I still sort of love it? ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/zoesaldana109462899-compressed-1587947932.jpg) We used to wear very short skirts and very platform-y shoes. (That shoe color is inspired here.) ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/113508205-Zoe-Saldana-Met-Ball-640x937-1587947200.jpg) Here we are back at the Met Gala again, again in Calvin Klein (that's Francisco Costa with her). This dress is honestly perfect to me. ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/113496284-Zoe-Saldana-640x961-1587947192.jpg) The back is so tremendous. (The theme that year was Alexander McQueen and I have no idea how this played into that but also I don't care anymore.) ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/zoesaldana_114215189-compressed-1587947897.jpg) This is FANTASTIC, at Cannes. ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/zoesaldana_FNP_EW_0195261-640x989-1587947914.jpg) Look at that cheeky little pink flower! ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/122729189-640x915-1587947209.jpg) Those shoes! (Eventually we're going to go back to platforms. I hope she kept them.) ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/zoe_saldana_3_wenn3479225-640x1095-1587947799.jpg) Remember this goofy shenanigan!!?? ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/132194010-640x967-1587947219.jpg) This is ALSO glorious. ## 2011 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/Veuve_Clicquot_Polo_Classic_39_wenn3552258-640x960-1587947741.jpg) Very apt for polo. ## 2012 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/137922902-compressed-1587947227.jpg) This still feels to me a little bit like something a rich, elderly bride might wear. ## 2012 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/139905958-compressed-1587947236.jpg) I actually love this dress, but it's VERY short. It definitely needs another inch or two. ## 2012 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/140049626-compressed-1587947244.jpg) Enter the sheers. ## 2012 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/145724959-640x863-1587947252.jpg) The sheers have settled in. ## 2012 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/latin_cosmo_17_wenn5838806-640x960-1587947569.jpg) I loved this at the time, but in retrospect, it's a bit twee. ## 2012 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/149098003-640x921-1587947261.jpg) This is super, though. ## 2013 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/162471411-1587947269.jpg) SANTA MONICA, CA - FEBRUARY 23: Actress Zoe Saldana (R) and Cisley Saldana attend the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards at Santa Monica Beach on February 23, 2013 in Santa Monica, California. (Photo by Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images for Paramount Pictures) This, with its car wash hem, is a little over the top, but I've mellowed on it with age. We've seen so much worse. ## 2013 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/168751682-820x1194-1587947318.jpg) THIS in fact is worse! ## 2013 ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2020/04/169106259-1587947326.jpg) CANNES, FRANCE - MAY 20: Actress Zoe Saldana attends the photocall for 'Blood Ties' at The 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2013 in Cannes, France.
