The Dolly Parton segment on the Grammys was, as is the usual I believe, pegged to her being the Musicares honoree this year -- given to recording artists who are especially philanthropic, and as we all know, Dolly is basically a patron saint of child literacy, plus she gave millions to victims of the Gatlinberg fires in Tennessee. She is A GOOD EGG, is what I'm saying. (She's also the first country artist to win it, which surprises me.) Congrats, Dolly, and long may you inspire the rest of us.
