This was a fundraiser for the Los Angeles Mission, which is [a long-standing charity here in Los Angeles that aims to aid our unhoused neighbors](https://give.losangelesmission.org/production?cl=LAM&pg=fy22%5Fdec%5Fchristmas&appeal=DIGI-HOME&amt=35%2C50%2C75%2C100&version=full&utm%5Fsource=google&utm%5Fmedium=cpc&utm%5Fcampaign=rkd-eg-donate&gclid=Cj0KCQiAzfuNBhCGARIsAD1nu-8VY90oDNPya3IBxtFSLdX-VFvyv5o1hC1od-kfcdllu-ZZ6SrbvVUaArtxEALw%5FwcB), and which is a very good cause. It definitely seems like it happened outside, which is wise given the current Covid situation -- I am *very curious* about what is going to happen with the early January awards shows given that Omicron seems to be infecting everyone -- and which also does let us eyeball some actually functional Los Angeles coats. A silver lining? Listen, I'll take it.
