# There Were Leggings at the French Open This Year

The shifting of the tennis schedule means the French Open, usually played in May, took place over the past two weeks in a decidedly chillier and wetter Paris climate. The solution for a lot of the players was to just toss on some leggings and go about their business, and that was not the only newish thing about it: Winner Iga Swiatek, 19, was the youngest woman to win since Monica Seles in 1992 (and that one was Seles's third in a row; she was 17 when she won it in 1990). This slideshow is only a meager sampling of outfits because, disappointingly, I was not able to watch a single point of this year's French and so am wading through the photo galleries and grabbing what I can. Let me know what I missed.
