# These Outfits at the "Joy" Premiere Did Not Spark Much For Me

*Joy* may suffer from not being the first movie named *Joy* that comes up when you Google it. That honor goes to the 2015 Jennifer Lawrence joint about the inventor of Huggable Hangers; this one is about Jean Purdy, the scientist who helped pioneer IVF, and is supposed to be a vastly superior project AND the only one of the two that stars Fug Nation's favorite hot vicar. Unfortunately, James Norton continues to have a very strange relationship with pants. He looks like he thrifted a Colonel Mustard costume for a full-costume *Clue* screening. Actually, both of them here are having sizing issues -- James is swimming in fabric, and Thomasin McKenzie is wearing a stunning archival Lanvin [from its 2020 Resort collection](https://www.instagram.com/p/DBKTzusSEyA/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) that is sabotaged by not having been properly fitted at the bodice. Sitting low and loose like that makes the accessories look even more undercooked. The whole thing is like a save that was about to be spectacular, until it turned into an own goal.
