# These "Wartime Fashions" Actually Would Be V. Helpful Right Now

Informative Caption tells us that "The very latest fashion in air raid shelter wear is a slip on dressing gown complete with hood, and can be left open, (left), or zipped into trousers, (right). London, England. September 14, 1939." And, excuse me, but -- and I am not at all thrilled with this development! -- but I *could* use a robe that I could swiftly transform into trousers right about now. Not to mention the gas mask.
