(Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) This is fine! Her shoes are rad. If a Fosse routine breaks out, someone can throw her a hat and she'll be good to go. ## Lena Waithe in custom Rich Fresh ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319690151-1621824997.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: Lena Waithe poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) And this is rad on her. I look forward to seeing it as the mint option in a future Twitter thread called Lena Waithe As Ice Creams. ## The Weeknd ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319690077-1621823472.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: The Weeknd poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) I'm 99% confident that he's in costume as Fox Mulder. ## Leslie Odom Jr. in Prada ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319706621-1621823517.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: Leslie Odom Jr. poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) ENJOY these fab coats and turtlenecks while they last, Leslie! Last night was chilly but today is going to be 89 degrees. SUMMER IS COMING. ## Iann Dior in Maison Margiela and Tom Ford ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319673845-1621823422.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: In this image released on May 23, Iann Dior poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) Yes, I had to research who this is! Wiki tells me that Iann Dior "is a Puerto Rican-born American singer, rapper, and songwriter. In 2020, he was featured on 24kGoldn's single "Mood", which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became his first and highest charting song." This whole look is very cool and really well done. ## Bad Bunny ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319692434-1621823483.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: Bad Bunny poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) This definitely looks like a costume from a high-budget 70s movie about a cocaine dealer who gets in too deep. ## Glass Animals in Gucci ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319673863-1621823434.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: (L-R) In this image released on May 23, Edmund Irwin-Singer, Drew MacFarlane, Dave Bayley, and Joe Seaward of Glass Animals pose backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) Sure! I can roll with this! ## DJ Khaled in D&G ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319681398-1621823447.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: DJ Khaled poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) Yeah, so literally there is no reason to wear D&G for this particular look unless you just want to wear D&G. About a kajillion high end lines will make you a $1200 bowling shirt, I promise. ## Da Baby in Gucci ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319706680-1621824774.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: Da Baby, Winner of the Top Streaming Song Award poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) This is very cool on him, and I sincerely hope we're entering a period of bright hats on dudes. ## Takeoff, Quavo, and Offset of Migos ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319684074-1621823460.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: (L-R) Takeoff, Quavo, and Offset of Migos pose backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) They ALSO look great, and I have to say that I am delighted by the continuing era of truly interesting and creative menswear. ## Chelsea Handler in Christian Siriano ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319706518-1621823506.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: Chelsea Handler poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) Chelsea Handler suffers a bit here by comparison to the previous men, but this dress is definitely a bit boring for the event; it feels sort of Fancy Daytime Wedding, rather than Music Awards Show. ## Drake ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2021/05/GettyImages-1319708925-1621823529.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MAY 23: Drake, winner of the Artist of the Decade Award, poses backstage for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, broadcast on May 23, 2021 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Rich Fury/Getty Images for dcp) Drake IS the best tailored man at the high end real estate firm!
