Emma here is attending [the inaugural meeting of the G7 Advisory Committee For Equality Between Women and Men](https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a26413184/emma-watson-pantsuit-g7-advisory-committee-meeting/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and as such certainly her wardrobe was not the most important detail of her day (although, as Heather and I wrote for the Washington Post, [fashion does not exist in a vacuum](https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/01/04/talking-about-pelosis-pink-dress-isnt-sexist-it-means-youre-paying-attention/?utm%5Fterm=.2b09caa683d4&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io)). Having said that: This is dreamily professional to me. Lightly patterned, plenty of visual interest near the face, a serious-yet-not-dull color, extremely clever shoe choice. As ever, Hermione would be proud.
