I mostly really like this -- the colors, the fabrics, the shimmer. What's bugging me is the one frothy strap, which doesn't look built-in so much as like she was wearing a flower crown, got sick of it, tore it off, and looped her arm through it so she wouldn't lose it.

It looks slightly more organic from the back?

Very lovely. She's been working with Penny Lovell lately -- not the stylist she started out with; I don't know if they're jointly working with her now, or if there was a parting, or what -- and this might be the first time we've seen her in open shoes on a red carpet.

These are The Three Kates. Hannah especially -- on the left, if the caption was correct -- is REALLY facially believable as a young Chrissy.

I am feeling his plaid tie. Not AS enamored of her dress, which kind of looks like it was a contender for Dress No. 3 at their future wedding but she jettisoned it and then decided to wear it somewhere else.

Logan Shroyer

He is Young Justin Hartley on the show, which has to feel like a compliment.

Milo and Chris Sullivan

This is the LEAST aggressively quirky Chris Sullivan has been in a while.

Beth, Beth, BETH. I love you THE MOST --you are my favorite TV mom right now, even above Minnie Driver on Speechless -- and this dress is not worthy of your divinity.

Niles Fitch

Sterling K. Brown didn't seem to be there, so we'll have to get all teary-eyed at Teen Randall instead.

Alex Breckinridge

Alex plays Justin Hartley's on-again ex-wife, and... I mean, I assume this isn't a spoiler. Maybe, if she's in the first round of episodes, they stuck her behind a potted plant.
