Thom Browne used origami birds as the set design for his Fall/Winter 2025 show, and had his first two models playing the role of ornithologists [while a reading of Emily Dickinson's "'Hope' is the thing with feathers" played over the music](https://fashionista.com/2025/02/thom-browne-fall-2025-collection?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). So...yep, bird theme. But thankfully, at least that I could tell, no bird FEET. REPEAT: NO BIRD FOOT DANGER HEREIN.

Browne is really good at giving you both exactly what you came for, and a couple new twists on the form, and this show is no exception. I was specifically struck by the pleating work in dresses like the above, which feels fresh from him compared with the usual overgrown schoolkid application.
