Julia is in a movie called BEN IS BACK, which reads like Oscar bait for her. To wit: "Nineteen-year-old Ben Burns unexpectedly returns to his family's suburban home on Christmas Eve. Ben's mom, Holly, is relieved and welcoming but wary of her son's drug addiction. Over a turbulent 24 hours, new truths are revealed, and a mother's undying love gets put to the test as Holly does everything in her power to keep Ben clean." It is also getting good reviews, and she and Lucas Hedges are apparently excellent in it; personally, I welcome an awards season push for Julia Roberts. It's ALWAYS fun when a real A-list movie star is in the hunt, because they usually really bring. And here it HAS been broughten: She looks great in this.

I also always appreciate a moment with a cape. (Is Julia cleaving solely to black-and-white as a superstitious homage to her famous black-and-white Oscar-winning Valentino? I'm not saying she isn't.)

This is incredibly well-done on him. (He's apparently incredible in the movie that's premiering here, "Beautiful Boy.")

Amandla Stenberg is working with Karla Welch now, and you can tell -- I don't always LOVE what these looks, but they always have a point of view, and Amandla never looks like just some random young celeb.
