It's poignant to look at this year's *TIME* Women of the Year nominees and think just how much harder it's going to be, for so many of them, to continue effecting the change for which they're fighting. If you want to read more about the nominees (which include a raft of celebs),[ you can click here](https://time.com/collection/women-of-the-year/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io): The landing page has links to videos from panel discussions, and then profiles of each. [Gisele Pelicot](https://time.com/7216401/gisele-pelicot-rape-case/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) did not attend, nor does she seem to have spoken to them for her piece, which is understandable given... everything she has had to say publicly for so long, and also, shame on them for not making her Person of the Year. And yes, [Jordan Chiles and A'ja Wilson were honored together](https://time.com/7216381/aja-wilson-jordan-chiles-interview/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), allowing for this incredible photo. WBNA stars are tall! Gymnasts are small! We know this intellectually, but how often do we get to see it so clearly illustrated?!?
