Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) This is VERY good on her. ## Andrew Rannells and Zuzanna Szadkowski ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157871822-1718587555.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: (L-R) Andrew Rannells and Zuzanna Szadkowski attend the The 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. We have often celebrated that she and Andrew Rannells are longtime best friends, but it was cool to see them together here (I think he's dating Tuc Watkins still, too, and that would ALSO have been welcome). Everyone here looks divine. ## Maria Friedman (nominated for direction, Merrily We Roll Along) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157343216-1718587529.jpg) Maria Friedman at the 77th Annual Tony Awards held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/Variety via Getty Images) I am not a HUGE lover of insects, but I applaud her using her necklace to continue the theme, even if I cannot. ## Anna Wintour, Bee Carrozzini ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157878857-1718587574.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: (L-R) Anna Wintour and Bee Carrozzini attend the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) A colorful pedi on Anna is something of a rarity, no? Bee, I think, was involved in *Appropriate* on some level because Sarah Paulson thanked her. Both these women look very nice, as you would expect. ## Erika Woods, Wendell Pierce ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157882021-1718587583.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: (L-R) Erika Woods and Wendell Pierce attend the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) Wendell was a nominee last year, but I think he and Erika are there in service of Power Book III, which they're in together. I also learned on Erika's IMDb page that she was named after Erica Kane. RESPECT. Her dress is beautiful. ## Nikiya Mathis (Special Tony) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157888340-1718587608.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Nikiya Mathis poses with her Special Tony Award at the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Cindy Ord/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) Nikiya was honored for her work in, among many things, *Jaja’s African Hair Braiding*. She is apparently a leading wig and hair designer for Broadway, particularly with Black hair, is also pushing for a permanent category recognizing this (and for the hiring of more qualified professionals who specialize in Black hair). I am hoping she'll put something about this look up on Instagram, as I think it's creative and cool and I want to know about the lining. ## David Zinn (Best Scenic Design, Stereophonic) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157342959-1718587502.jpg) David Zinn, wins the Best Scenic Design of a Play award for "Stereophonic" at the 77th Annual Tony Awards held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/Variety via Getty Images) I wasn't sure WHAT to put this in, because it's... a melange... and so I decided this is The Melange Gallery. His speech was very emotional and I dig his scarf (IS that a scarf?). ## Sky Lakota-Lynch, Alba Lynch ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157342975-1718587511.jpg) Sky Lakota-Lynch and Alba Lynch at the 77th Annual Tony Awards held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/Variety via Getty Images) Sky is not the first Indigenous performer on Broadway, but he is the first to be nominated (for The Outsiders). He was also that musical's BIGGEST cheering section all night; it was lovely. He looks tremendous and of course I am a sucker for a dude who brings his mom. ## LaTanya Richardson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157343047-1718587519.jpg) LaTanya Richardson at the 77th Annual Tony Awards held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/Variety via Getty Images) She's there as a veteran producer, and I think that's a great outfit for when you're the support team and not a nominee. (This is not a backhanded compliment! I think she nailed it.) ## Enver Chakartash (nominee, costume design, Stereophonic) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157877582-1718587564.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Enver Chakartash attends the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Jamie McCarthy/WireImage) This suit is really stunning. ## Ariana DeBose ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157883427-1718587591.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Ariana DeBose hosts The 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) Since Ariana's red-carpet outfit anchored this post, we might as well cover her show outfits as well. She performed the opener in this, which is... better than the song was? ## Ariana DeBose ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157885848-1718587599.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Ariana DeBose hosts The 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) I would have had someone rip out the hair extensions during a commercial break. ## Ariana DeBose ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157892909-1718602818.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Ariana DeBose hosts The 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) See how much cuter it looks when you think maybe she DID hack off the extensions? ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157893654-1718602828.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Ariana DeBose performs onstage during The 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) She performed in the tribute to the late Chita Rivera, too, as Chita was Broadway's Anita. Kinda wish they'd opened with this instead. ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157897867-1718602809.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Ariana DeBose hosts The 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) But, she closed the show on a high note! Not as high as the red carpet, but a pretty solid bookend. [Ariana DeBose's Best Performance at the Tonys Was On the Red CarpetThis is GOOD.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2024/06/gettyimages-2157860077-1718587547.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/ariana-deboses-best-performance-at-the-tonys-was-on-the-red-carpet-06-2024/)
