(Photo by Kristina Bumphrey/Variety via Getty Images) Hell's Kitchen had a lot of heat going into Sunday, and, you know, HELL, so red is an apt color here. I don't think she needed the gloves but I'm not angry at them either; this might be the best she's ever looked. ## J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157883503-1718587378.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: (L-R) J. Alex Brinson and Lindsay Mendez attend the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) They met on CBS's All Rise, a show that I found delightful and was sorry it didn't flourish more. They just got married and Groffsauce officiated, and DanRad was the ring bearer. She looks wonderful here; it sounds like the *Merrily* experience was so rewarding, and getting to do it while pregnant must be so emotional. ## Heather Simms (Purlie Victorious) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157334393-1718587307.jpg) Heather Simms at the 77th Annual Tony Awards held at the David H. She has a robust theater and screen career AND is a voice on Grand Theft Auto. Range! ## Julia Cheng and Rebecca Frecknall ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157884319-1718587386.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: (L-R) Julia Cheng and Rebecca Frecknall attend the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Bravo to Julia for inadvertently (I assume) tying this all together with a matching red lip. ## Rachel Fuller and Pete Townshend ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157885086-1718587394.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: (L-R) Rachel Fuller and Pete Townshend attend the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Well sir, if you did not beanie, you would be in a whole other slideshow. ## Celia Keenan-Bolger (Mother Play) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157875802-1718587343.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Celia Keenan-Bolger attends the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Jamie McCarthy/WireImage) She didn't win, but she DID add a nomination to The Gilded Age's impressive tally. And looked great doing it. ## Jessica Lange (Mother Play) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157875827-1718587352.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Jessica Lange attends the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. (Photo by Cindy Ord/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) I want to burn satin jumpsuits -- they do not wear well at all -- but I love that she finished it with gold shoes? Her speech for Best Score was really exuberant and sweet and spotlighted mentors, which was neat. ## Bebe Neuwirth (Cabaret) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157338582-1718587315.jpg) Bebe Neuwirth at the 77th Annual Tony Awards held at the David H. This last string of outfits lives in that cabernet region that often prompts us to put red and purple together. Which is it? Why decide. ## Tamara Tunie ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157340746-1718587324.jpg) Tamara Tunie at the 77th Annual Tony Awards held at the David H. Sofia Carson would be jealous. ## Jocelyn Bioh (Jaja's African Hair Braiding) ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157867180-1718587334.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: Jocelyn Bioh attends the The 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center on June 16, 2024 in New York City. (Photo by Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions) This feels kind of Prom, but the Tony Awards night IS Theatre Prom, so why not. ## Erin Darke, Daniel Radcliffe ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2024/06/GettyImages-2157876385-1718587360.jpg) NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 16: (L-R) Erin Darke and Daniel Radcliffe attend the 77th Annual Tony Awards at David H. DanRad won a Tony for *Merrily We Roll Along*, gave a great speech, and brought Jonathan Groff to happy tears. AND ME. He's used his Harry Potter money and experience to make REALLY interesting choices in his career, and I admire that and enjoy that he's an ambassador for all good things. [It Was Alicia Keys's Night at the Tonys, Even If It Wasn'tSHE didn't win, but... she won.![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2024/06/gettyimages-2157331652-1718587299.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/it-was-alicia-keyss-night-even-if-it-wasnt-06-2024/)
