Apparently this was in aid of a "Fun Home"/phone home joke, and I will give this to Kristin: She is not afraid to go all out for a laugh. It makes me think she'd be good fun at Drinks With Broads. She'd be a little high-maintenance, I think, and she might be one of those people who pretends she put in money and can't figure out why the check is coming up short. But she'd be a laugh.

This is obviously her piano picture from the whole hosting experience. There was nothing as wonderful as seeing this captioned "Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth" before I realized she was WEARING the costume and it wasn't just a photographer making a joke.

This is ALSO a piano picture. Actually, this is how I assume Kristin Chenoweth gets around town all the time. She'd arrive at Drinks With Broads this way and Baranski would kind of roll her eyes a little while we scoot over to make room but then half an hour later they'd be singing Cole Porter together while eating olives.

She looks quite smashing in this gown, though -- it's stunning, and gives her such length. He looks exactly like Alan Cumming always looks, except I don't usually associate him with such a lazy shoe game. It's a custom suit; find some good hooves to go with it, sir.

I didn't think you should be denied the back.

"... and so I said to Alan, 'Well, yeah, TECHNICALLY, suit shorts is semi-formal because it's only part of a formal outfit,' and I guess that means I'm his enabler."

Better, Alan. Better.

Meh. He looks great; she looks like her corset rode up on her.

If you're going to have hosts change clothes this many times, I think visually they need to complement each other a little -- or at least, better than they do here. These are miserably discordant. (Also her skirt looks like it got tucked into itself somehow.)

Here, they are performing with the cast of "Something Rotten." Also known as, "Check Out Our Wig Budget."

And of course this is "The King and I." Cumming is pulling off that skirt, y'all. You heard it here first.

We need to discuss that Tommy Tune might be exactly twice Cheno's height. He also might be made of furniture polish and some of Tony Bennett's blood.

I love a night that ends with a group hug.
