Peddle it harder, Leighton.
When Jessica Alba wore it, she ditched the belt; I actually like it there. She was cute and smiley in this during the telecast, and the turquoise earrings with it are PERFECT, and basically, I didn't understand the "Bunheads" love -- that show had SO MANY PROBLEMS -- but apparently she's got a new one that stars Hilary Duff and I will probably watch it because I'm a sucker and whatever don't look at me.
I can't decide if that's ornate and lovely, or a glorified hair shirt.
I'm pretty sure this sofa exists in Buckingham Palace somewhere. In a good way.
I don't know who made this, but the fabric is beautiful. I'm not ENTIRELY sure the heavy corseting and cut were as awesome on her as I wanted them to be, but I still love her and assume we are great imaginary friends.
This is okay, but I don't like the beige bits on the side, like they ran out of paillettes.
I think I'm seeing too much of her scaffolding.
She's in Raisin In The Sun, which won big, and I think this is FAB on her.
This is... you know, she is always so much more interesting and immaculate than this gown is to me. It's FINE, but it also looks like Brenda and Kelly's 90210 spring dance dress split and is holding itself open.
She won for portraying Carole King in "Beautiful." I almost wrote "Carol Kane," which is a WHOLE DIFFERENT THING, although if they wanted to make a musical about her portion if The Princess Bride I would listen to that pitch. She is NOT a witch, Miracle Max, she's your WIFE.
Anyhoo: I really hate this on her. It's so bland and unflattering, and she looked SO MUCH CUTER in this blue dress from her performance (maybe it's one of her costumes?). Sigh. She is probably not crying all over her Tony, though, except with euphoria.
I just love this. Does she have a new stylist? I never paid much attention to her before, but the last few things she's worn have been great.
The D&G gowns we've seen have been all over the map. This is very dishy on her. LOOK at her waist. Wow.
This is not for me. The fabric photographs SO CHEAPLY. It's like she was at Nightgown Summer Camp trying to braid one on a loom.
I feel like we're going to see Kate Winslet in this eventually. It's very acceptable and maybe even good.
