I didn't expect to like the butterfly shoes, either, but actually the effect is pretty nifty -- truly like a big ol' bracelet for her feet, somehow. And they're flats. If you're going to trot out flats on Anna Wintour's Night of Nights Except For All The Other Ones That Are More Important To Her, this is the only way to get them to pass her muster.
